On August 6, Rockstar announced Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look for August 27. The Netflix premiere was scheduled for 3 p.m. Eastern, with Rockstar's website and YouTube following six hours later.
This was an announced presentation, ending the uncertainty around the next substantial look at the game. Rockstar used the title An Extended Look; calling it Trailer 3 is an informal description.
