GTA 6 Radio Stations and Soundtrack: What's Actually Confirmed
One radio station confirmed, a handful of trailer tracks, and a mountain of rumour. Here is the honest state of the GTA 6 soundtrack four months out from launch — separating what Rockstar has shown from what artists have hinted.
The soundtrack is the least-revealed part of the game
Rockstar has shown us the map, the characters, the cover art and 63 screenshots. What it has barely touched is the thing that historically defines a GTA game as much as anything else: the radio.
Here is where things genuinely stand.
Confirmed radio stations: one
V-Rock is the only station confirmed so far — and even that confirmation is indirect. It was spotted as a logo on a t-shirt Jason wears in trailer footage, not announced.
V-Rock returning is a meaningful nod. It was the hard rock and metal station in the original Vice City (1986), hosted by Lazlow Jones. A modern-day V-Rock in 2026 Vice City is a very different proposition — likely a legacy-rock or revival format rather than a period one.
That is it. One station, confirmed by a t-shirt.
Confirmed songs
A small number of tracks are confirmed by virtue of appearing in official trailers:
| Track | Artist | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Love Is a Long Road | Tom Petty | Trailer 1 |
| Hot Together | The Pointer Sisters | Trailer 2 |
Six songs total have been confirmed across official Rockstar material. Notably, "Hot Together" saw a reported streaming spike north of 180,000% after Trailer 2 — a useful reminder of the sheer commercial gravity a GTA soundtrack slot now carries.
Artists who have hinted at their own involvement
This is the strongest tier of unconfirmed information, because it comes from the artists rather than from leakers:
Neither has been confirmed by Rockstar. Both are self-reported by people who would know.
Rumoured, unconfirmed
Names circulating without solid sourcing include Ski Mask the Slump God, Neon Indian, ScHoolboy Q and Skrilla. Treat these as fan speculation until Rockstar says otherwise — the leak history around GTA 6 soundtracks has been poor.
Why Rockstar is holding this back
Two practical reasons:
What to expect, and when
Historically Rockstar has revealed radio stations and DJs close to launch — often in the final six to eight weeks, sometimes as a dedicated Newswire post per station. With a November 19 date, that points at late September through early November for the real reveals.
Anything you see before then claiming a full station list is, with near-certainty, fabricated.
