Pre-Order

GTA 6 Pre-Order Guide: Editions, Pricing and Where to Buy

Planning to pre-order Grand Theft Auto VI? Here is what we know about likely editions, pricing, platforms and how to avoid the launch-day scramble.

Are GTA 6 pre-orders live yet?

As of early June 2026, Rockstar has not opened official pre-orders. Expect them to go live alongside or shortly after Trailer 3, which is anticipated over the summer. When they open, they will appear on the PlayStation Store, the Microsoft Store, and major retailers.

This guide is a planning resource — we update it the moment pre-orders are confirmed.

What editions to expect

Rockstar typically offers a Standard Edition plus one or more premium tiers. Based on GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2, a likely structure is:

  • Standard Edition — the base game
  • Deluxe / Special Edition — base game plus in-game bonuses and currency
  • A possible Collector's Edition with physical goods (steelbook, map, collectibles)
  • Nothing above is confirmed — it is the pattern Rockstar has followed before.

    Likely pricing

Modern AAA titles have settled around the $69.99–$79.99 mark for the standard console edition. GTA VI is expected to sit in that range, with premium editions priced higher. Regional pricing will vary.

    How to be ready

  • Pick your platform — PS5 or Xbox Series X|S at launch
  • Decide physical vs digital — digital enables pre-load; physical suits collectors
  • Set an alert for the official Rockstar Newswire and store pages
  • Be cautious of third-party listings promising early keys — wait for official channels
  • Watch out for scams

Whenever a game this big approaches, fake pre-order pages and key resellers appear. Only pre-order through official platform stores or established retailers. If a deal looks too good to be true, it is.

We will refresh this guide with confirmed editions and prices as soon as Rockstar opens pre-orders.
