GTA 6 Map: All Six Confirmed Regions of Leonida

Rockstar has now confirmed six distinct regions across the state of Leonida — including Mount Kalaga National Park. Here is the full regional breakdown of GTA VI's open world.

GTA 6 Map: All Six Confirmed Regions of Leonida

Six regions, one state

Grand Theft Auto VI is set in the fictional US state of Leonida, a stand-in for modern-day Florida. Rockstar has confirmed six distinct regions, and the map is expected to be close to twice the size of GTA V's.

The confirmed regions

  • 1.Vice City — the central metropolis, a modern reimagining of Miami and the densest urban hub in the game.
  • 2.Leonida Keys — a tropical island chain inspired by the Florida Keys, all luxury, leisure and coastline.
  • 3.Grassrivers — swampy Everglades-style wetlands teeming with wildlife (yes, including the cover-star crocodiles).
  • 4.Port Gellhorn — a weathered coastal city with a rich history and an emerging underground economy. It's also home base for mechanic Wyman.
  • 5.Ambrosia — an industrial region marked by factories and biker gangs, and the setting for mayoral candidate Erin Henshaw's campaign.
  • 6.Mount Kalaga National Park — a mountainous, forested wilderness built for the outdoors, adding real vertical and rural variety.
  • A world designed for contrast

That spread — dense neon city, tropical keys, swampland, industrial port, and mountain park — gives Leonida the kind of environmental range Rockstar chased with Red Dead Redemption 2, rather than GTA V's single-city focus. Expect the traversal options (cars, boats, aircraft and even a Metrorail-style train) to reflect that variety.

    Still to come

Rockstar typically saves the full, labelled map reveal for a later trailer or the official gameplay breakdown. Until then, these six regions are the confirmed skeleton of the world.

Vice City is the beating heart, but the story of GTA VI clearly stretches across the whole state of Leonida.
