GTA 6 Cars: Confirmed Vehicles and Their Real-Life Inspirations

Rockstar never licenses real cars — but GTA VI's fictional vehicles are dead ringers for the machines that inspired them. Here are the confirmed standouts and the real cars behind them.

Fictional badges, unmistakable shapes

Rockstar doesn't license real vehicle brands — every car in GTA VI is a fictional creation under invented marques like Grotti, Vapid, Bravado, Pfister and Declasse. But the designs are lovingly modelled on real machines, and fans have already identified well over a hundred from the trailers alone. Here are the confirmed standouts.

Supercars & sports

  • Grotti Cheetah — reborn as a 1980s Ferrari Testarossa, a direct throwback to the classic Vice City Cheetah
  • Pfister Comet — as ever, a Porsche 911, updated to the current 992 generation
  • Grotti Furia — a modern Ferrari 488/SF90-style exotic
  • Pegassi Tempesta — the resident Lamborghini Huracán
  • Pfister Growler — a clear Porsche 718 Cayman stand-in
  • Bravado Banshee — the beloved Dodge Viper
  • Muscle & classics

  • Vapid Dominator — the series' evergreen Ford Mustang
  • Bravado Gauntlet — a Dodge Challenger, in both classic and Hellfire flavours
  • Declasse Vigero ZX — a modern Chevrolet Camaro
  • Declasse Impaler — a Chevrolet Impala, perfect lowrider material
  • Trucks & off-road

  • Vapid Caracara — a spot-on Ford F-150 Raptor
  • Vapid Ganado / Ute — a tribute to the Ford Ranchero / Chevrolet El Camino
  • Canis Mesa — the trusty Jeep Wrangler
  • Bikes, boats and more

Beyond four wheels, the trailers show off motorcycles (Ducati- and Harley-inspired), airboats built for the Grassrivers swamps, cigarette-style speedboats, and light aircraft — a reminder that Leonida is meant to be crossed by land, sea and air.

    How many cars total?

Rockstar hasn't given a number, but GTA VI is widely expected to launch with 300+ vehicles. Our vehicles database already tracks the confirmed and strongly-indicated models.

The badges are made up, but the silhouettes aren't. Half the fun of a new GTA is spotting the real car behind every fictional nameplate.
